PAPERLESS FUTURE - BULK DANDENONG IS NOW A PAPERLESS FACILITY

Bulk Group flagship Dandenong 3PL is our first facility to achieve a paperless workflow after much hard work and dedication.

Under a paper-based workflow, Bulk's Dandenong warehouse used 74.88. trees and emitted CO2 emissions: of 6.01 tonnes just with paper use alone in 2020

Why go paperless? In the USA, Japan, and Europe, an average person uses 200 and 250 kilos of paper every year. In India, the figure is 5 kilos, and in some countries, it is less than 1 kilo. Producing 1 kilo of paper requires 2-3 times its weight in trees. If everyone used 200 kilos of paper per year, there would be no trees left.

After understanding the damaging impact paper use plays on our environment, we decided to put our money where our mouth is and establish a goal to be paperless by the end of 2021! We smashed it!

Bulk isn't just interested in talking about going green; we want to champion the cause and support the initiatives in our renewable sector in the day to day in our warehouse. This initiative, combined with our shift to a fully electric material handling fleet in 2020, reflects Bulk's value in minimising its operational impact on the environment.

Now it's your turn? How green is your business?

Thanks for partnering with us, and looking forward to the next challenge.
