Bulk Group x Dexion Victoria Charity Golf Day

Last week, Bulk Group together with Dexion Victoria were proud to host our inaugural Charity Golf Day in Support of Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds.

Welcoming a selection of our golf-enthusiast colleagues, clients and partners, the players descended upon Woodlands Golf Course on the renowned Melbourne sandbelt.

We started with coffee, breakfast and custom-designed player packs created through a partnership with Activ8 Group & Taylor Made; while on the course, our groups enjoyed the Dexion DJ Hole Par Three and The Bulk Longest Drive with Mark Allen to raise additional funds for Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds.

We were overjoyed to welcome Naomi Frauenfelder, CEO of Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds who delivered a wonderful address at our post-course luncheon. She highlighted the absolute necessity of the supply chain industry collectively zoning in our focus unquestionably on supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our teams who currently are at the highest risk of any profession of facing mental health issues.

We were confronted to learn that a staggering 48% of workers have faced a mental health condition in the past 12 months - something we simply cannot allow to go unaddressed.

We know the demanding hours and volatile stress the industry can throw our way and we are proud to be dedicated resolutely to supporting this initiative.

Our guests enjoyed a gourmet BBQ lunch while enjoying each other’s company. We concluded with Mark Allen and Corey McKernan hosting a US Masters Calcutta with 50% of the pool going to Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds. The Masters starts April 9th and the boys gave us a worthwhile reason to follow the 2023 Masters for a cause.

It was a wonderful event for a very worthwhile cause. We would like to sincerely thank Corey McKernan from Walk with Me for his hard work and dedication in producing this day. We would also like to thank Mark Allen for offering his championship-winning expertise throughout, and our supporters Taylor Made. Finally to all our guests, thanks for making it a great day and we look forward to doing it bigger and better next year.
